2 Spa Weekends

• Good Morning!!! It's been some months since I've posted but I have been sooo busy with working and tryning to stay sane and that takes up pretty much all my time lol! With that being said I managed to squeeze in some much deserved spa time!! My best friend and I booked a double room so we could catch up on things but were very quickly put to a reality check when we started the services...she received a seaweed facial and I opted for a back treatment which included a glycoloic peel, great for exfoliation, achieving even tone, and superb product penetration. My bestie's facial was great for hydration and kick starting a new skin care  regimen. We visited Utopia Salon Spa in Vineland, NJ. The salon and spa features haircare, skin, and massage services! When you enter it feels like home with a victorian decor. Although I was caught up on the cel phone I did manage to see that there is a varied selection of haircare, and skincare products available to maintain your needs between apointments. I purchased the Murad Clarifying Body Spray, retailed at $37.50/4.3 fl. oz. I love it and use it twice a day. The nozzles sprays 360 degrees so even for hard to reach areas that you may have to flip the bottle for it still sprays fluidly!

My treatment consisted of a cleansing, exfoliation/ glycolic peel, extractions, and moisturizing. My esthetician was wonderful!!! She made sure I was comfortable and let me know each step she was about to take. With that being said I felt like a new woman afterward. The treatments were so good we stayed quiet the whole time! Since it was Valentines' weekend (that saturday we went) downstairs in the quiet area (where you sit until your service provider is ready for you) they had heart shaped cookies! How sweet! And after our treatment our estheticians gave us 2 glasses of champagne with strawberries! It was truely a day of relaxation and fabulousness!




The next weekend me and a "special friend" went to Fantagio Spa & Body located in Haddonfield, NJ. This spa is wonnnnnnderful!!! It's an hour away from home but was so worth the trip! I went to the website and was like YEEEESSSS! I'm booking this! Although at the time the website was not as updated as I would've liked but other than that it was perfect! The spa is upscale with marble and coral accents, absolutely beautiful! We received a couples massage that was pure heaven! I can't stop sayin enough nice things because it was just that good! Very skillful therapists that relieved every worry in th world. Hot oil, warm towels, and medium and soft strokes....I mean I seriously did NOT want to leave!!! I went and took care of the bill, and was pleasantly surprised that there was a special and let me tell you I feel like I robbed them! The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and warm...I'm a fan. It's also tucked away in a nook of space that if you're not really looking for it you could miss it, which makes it feel exclusive!

Missing My Nails :(

Sooo, took off my acrylics 3 days ago and I feel like I have little boy hands!!! My nails are so paper thin uggh!!! So my nail lady removed them with another acrylic nail and used it to wedge between my own nail and the tip..and can I say pure pain?!! I wish I would've taken notice of the polish that I had on at the time. As you will see in the pic they were a really pretty red. I'm usually more of a neutral tone kinda girl but i was tryning to be festive soooo. The end result was dreadful and I'm upset I didn't take a pic of how they looked exactly after they were off cuz they were raw looking!!! And one was even cracked, but I couldn't be upset cuz I did it to myself!!! So after the painful removal I came home and buffed them myself then painted with a cool color from Sally Hansen called Wet Cement, and the name says it all!! Check the pictures...

Like I said wish I knew the name of this color but I didn't take notice but it was an OPI nail polish.

Lemme know your opinions on acrylics vs. natural, and maybe some suggestions for how I can strengthen my nails!!! How do you feel about the wet cement color??  Thanx 4 stopping by!

FOTD: Daytime Metallic

Today I was goin  out just to get these acrylics off! Don't get me wrong I love nails, but def needed to give them a rest. So I decided to do a metallic eye but wearable for daytime. I enjoy wearing eyeshadow and liner but sometimes I can get a little carried away so I toned it down. Let me know what you think!! I used the coastal palette and will be doin many looks from it in the future. I used 5 shades. May sound like a lot but if you think about it, usually if you do lid, crease and highlight, theirs 3 right there!

*LID- 31 (shimmer)
*OUTER V- 32 (matte)
*INNER CORNER- 20 (shimmer)
*CREASE- 28 (shimmer)
*HIGHLIGHT- 7 (matte)

Black liquid liner (Prestige) on top lid from inner corner to outer. Dark blue kohl liner along waterline and smudged w/ black kohl liner to finish used black masacra(Voluminous Million Lashes).



FOTD: Feelin Girly

Happy New Years!!!! Hope everyone had a great nite on the 31st! Time for new beginnings, and change! With that being said I decided to try pink eyes...I used the coastal scents palette that I posted in the last look. There's 36 shades so I figured I'd start experimenting and havin a little fun.. with this look I used 4 shades.

Okay Luxeys... so i used shades 23,24,30,and 35. Prime the lids as always!

*LID/OUTER LID- 35 (matte)
*INNER CORNER- 24 (shimmer)
*CREASE- 30 (matte)
*HIGHLIGHT- 23 (shimmer)

Use liquid liner on top lid, instead of using on the whole upper lid I used from the middle lid to the outer and flicked up and out for a drastic wing.
Bottom liner is a regular black kohl pencil. Add falsies if you're goin out, but with this look I just used mascara.

Ps...I must say this looks waaay better in person so if you have this palette and try this look dont be alarmed by how vibrant it comes out, these pix make it look soft but its got more POW! Trust me! And remember you can always layer it on or wet your brush for an even more revved up color!
